COMMUNITY PARTNERS

WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY.
SO WE GIVE BACK.

Our community has been there with us every step of the way which is why we have always made an effort to share our success with local organizations. We believe that being able to make the world a better place through any sized action is impactful. We are so thankful for the ability to help and support others, and we take great pride in our ability to give back. We thank those who have allowed us to work with them to uplift them, and we are excited to work with others in the future. Below are some of the partnerships we have had to date and we hope this inspires you to take action in your community too! We try to donate and support others as much as we can so please feel free to reach out if you know of any way we can help. We cannot guarantee that we will always be able to help out but we will do our best!

Mamas for Mamas is a national charitable organization that is dedicated to supporting mothers and caregivers in crisis by supporting them through various poverty related struggles. Inspired by the Mamas for Mamas Farms, where they support and promote food security, this partnership bloomed. From each purchase of the Mamas for Mamas Pack, you are supporting their efforts in providing a space where mamas and their kids feel comfortable when they require poverty relief support.

The Surfrider Foundation is a non profit organization dedicated to protecting our oceans and beaches for the enjoyment of everyone. They have expanded to more than 15 countries and inspire others to get out there and help keep our shorelines clean. Inspired by their goals of plastic reduction and ocean protection, this partnership was created. From each purchase of our Ocean Lover's Pack, 10% of the proceeds are donated to Surfrider Vancouver Island to support their work towards a cleaner planet.

Lalmba Canada is a non profit organization that helps vulnerable children in poverty to continue their secondary or vocational school. They work with children in Matoso, a remote village in Kenya, that has no running water or electricity. The government funds the students' education until the eighth grade, after which Lalmba Canada steps in to help. Inspired by the wildlife and their mission of helping children, this partnership began. From each purchase of the Lalmba Canada Pack, you are supporting their communities and children in continuing their education.

HELPING HANDS FOR LIAM

Liam is a bright light that Katie has known for over 10 years. He is constantly smiling and joking around, playing basketball, or hanging out with friends and family. We created the "Helping Hands" package to donate 100% of profits to support Liam and his family after he was unexpectedly diagnosed with Type-B acute lymphoblastic Leukemia. Originally from Victoria, Liam and his family stayed at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver. Liam however is more than his diagnosis, he is simply put, an awesome kid with a family that is incredibly strong and positive. We thank them for sharing their story with us and hope to help lessen the financial burden.

UPDATE: Liam and his family are back in Victoria and Liam is currently in remission.

hearts for health care heroes

During COVID 19, we saw the dedication from our essential and health care workers and wanted to give back. As they continued to keep us safe, we wanted to bring them joy any way we could. To remind them of our gratitude we gifted them Hearts Filled with Appreciation! We were able to send over 100 Heart Packages to Nurses across North America so show our thanks. Inspired by what others were doing to show their support, we were able to purchase and gift 3 Nurse Boxes from the Village Restaurant. We are so proud of how the community came together and thankful for all our essential workers' dedication.

The Mustard Seed Street Church has been essential in fighting hunger and restoring faith to a large portion of people living in Greater Victoria since 1975. Their operations are nearly 100% community funded; these include Vancouver Island’s largest Food Bank, a Family Center, Hospitality programs, and addiction recovery. This organization provided so much for those in our local community, and we thought it was our turn to give back! Via sales of our Mystery Pack, we were able to donate $1,000!

We were so excited to be invited to attend the Woman and Wealth Gala! The Gala is hosted by The Canadian Women’s Foundation which is Canada’s public foundation for women and girls. They fund programs across Canada, prioritizing the communities where the need is greatest. These programs address four urgent issues: prevention of gender-based violence, women’s economic development, girls’ empowerment, and inclusive leadership. The Foundation works toward systemic change by bringing together community organizations across Canada to share knowledge and solutions. To celebrate, we sponsored 1500 custom wraps for the Gala!
