Welcome back to another Plastic Free July! Plastic Free July is a global movement with hopes to inspire people all over the world to choose a future free of single use plastics. We hope everyone out there chooses to participate in some way or another, even if it's something small!

For this blog post, we will be sharing all the things we love about the Surfrider Foundation and what we are doing to show them our support this month. Keep reading for more about this awesome organization.🌊

We are so thankful for amazing foundations such as Surfrider. They strive for a better future and care so much for our planet. That is why for the month of July, we are donating 10% of our Ocean Lovers Variety Set sales to the Surfrider Foundation! So go buy yourself some Ocean Lover wraps and help out Surfrider!

The Surfrider Foundation is "a grassroots non-profit coastal protection organization with a mission that is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our oceans, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network" -Surfrider Foundation. They inspire so many community members to get out there and clean up our shorelines and work towards a cleaner planet. The foundation originated in Malibu, CA, and has since then grown to start clubs in over 15 countries and cultivate a massive volunteer base of keen individuals around the world.

So far in 2021 alone, The Surfrider Foundation has removed a growing total of 57,663 pounds of trash from our beaches. In 2020, they removed 80,560 pounds of trash total! They have these statistics from the past 7 years of beach cleanups posted on their website. They have also shown exactly how many pieces of each kind of trash they have found.
