Shower Steamer FAQ's
How do shower steamers work?
Shower steamers dissolve when splashed with water in the shower. As they fizz, they release essential oils and menthol into the steam, creating a spa-like aromatherapy experience while you shower.
Can shower steamers be used in the bath?
No. Shower steamers are designed for aromatherapy in the shower and should not be used as bath bombs.
Will Shower Steamers clog my drain?
Nope! Some other shower steamers contain clay as a bonding agent, which can coat and clog your drain. Our shower steamers are free of clay, and are made of ingredients such as sodium bicarbonate and citric acid that actually help clean your drain - although, they are intended solely for aromatic and self care purposes, not cleaning.
How long does a shower steamer last?
A shower steamer usually lasts 1-2 average showers. If you take shorter showers, you can remove the steamer before it fully dissolves and reuse it later.
Where should I place a shower steamer?
Place the steamer on the floor of your shower or on a tub ledge, slightly away from the direct stream of water. This allows it to dissolve slowly and release scent throughout your shower. Your steamer placement also helps you control the amount of scent releasing throughout your shower.
